Eco-Learning Legacies is a MN.-based company specializing in the creation of eco-lifestyle education products and events. The company founder is seeking mature, heart-centered individuals (ages 18-35 and up) with an interest in holistic, eco-sustainable living, to serve as company interns. Work 15 hours a week for 12 weeks on a special company project. Get college level experience and a valuable recommendation from the founder on your resume!


- Create email marketing list
o Use current list of testimonial sources and email prospects to gather ideas for list expansion
o Start local – Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, then move to progressive states, large farming states and progressive organic/sustainable states on west coast and east coast.
o Code each prospect by target group to tailor messages
o Goal is 1500-2000 addresses

Social Media and Marketing Internship Duties
- Create email marketing lists; Create ‘Squeeze Page’ with opt-in box
- Create PR lists – newsletters, industry publications that may include content
- Use Mail Chimp or similar service to create and execute email campaigns
- Write promotional copy
- Create and manage editorial calendar
- Repurpose author’s content for blogs and social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
- Participate in discussions of relevant topics
- Competitive analysis
- Finding users to follow/friend/like
- Tracking the growth and the impact of social media

Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
- Be creative with an eye for design
- Knowledge of social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, etc.
- Energy, with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow our online presence
- Ability to identify a target market and “speak” to that consumer through social media;
- Experience proofreading and editing


Candia Lea Cole, founder of Eco-Learning Legacies has created a vast array of fun and engaging eco-lifestyle education products. She is seeking a marketing intern to develop a creative marketing strategy to drive sales of her educational products. This plan will initially focus on sales of her Tabletop TUTORS™ laminated teaching posters series (including her Eco-Intelligent Eating Model) and will expand to include other teaching products.

Increase sales of Tabletop TUTORS™ and possibly, related educational teaching products.

Generate demand through prospecting and social engagement to execute promotional email campaign for Tabletop TUTORS and related products.
