Description

Yellow Tree Theatre was founded in 2008 by theatre artists and husband/wife team Jason Peterson and Jessica Lind Peterson in response to a need for the arts in the Osseo/Maple Grove area. Yellow Tree was born with the goal of creating a welcoming artistic venue, with live theater as its backbone, which would also serve as a vibrant artistic hub for the community. Also, our artists are hugely important to us, and we seek to cultivate a theater company where artists are creatively challenged, artistically inspired and financially supported.

This internship provides an opportunity to learn about Arts/Non-profit Administration in an exciting, challenging and demanding way. We ask a lot of our interns-- they DO stuff. Sure, they might help stuff mailers or hang up posters, but you will also be meeting and greeting our patrons day to day. Learning their stories, hearing their needs, and applying that to our mission and goals. The intern will be working directly under the Education Coordinator helping with planning, execution and evaluation of the summer education program for ages 8-15.

This internship can be counted towards school credits.
