ResponsibilitiesAfter you have been approved to be a NiceTalk Tutor, you can click GO ONLINE to start taking requests whenever you are available. There will be two modes for a student, either random-call mode or direct-call mode. In random-call mode, you will be matched to the student according to your ratings; in direct-call mode, you are chosen by the student from the tutors’ list.
When you are connected to a student, you can start your conversation by introducing yourself with a warm smile. Some students are talkative, and you can let them to take the lead. Others may be quieter, so you would need to lead the chat. When you feel like running out of topics, you can ask them details about their lives, jobs, families, interests, and so on. You can also pick up some topics from IELTS or TOEFL.
RequirementsLanguage Proficiency: You don't need any teaching experience or TESOL certificate, but you should be able to speak English fluently.
Quiet Environment: Make sure you are in a quiet place to engage with your students. Background noise can be a distraction for both of you.
Proper Dressing: Casual dressing is allowed, but please make sure you always maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance while working with students.
