DescriptionCurriculum Writer/Designer for ESL Courses - Remote Internship Available
Remote part-time internship available.
We are in the process of building curriculum for 5 levels of English conversation courses. We are in need of an intern/volunteer to help us with this process.
This position represents an exciting opportunity for individuals who have proven experience in teaching and learning (both literacy and building students' content knowledge), supporting English Language Learners, curriculum design and building students' content knowledge.
You will be able to set your own work schedule. Work will require approximately 15 hours per week.
A lead curriculum designer will:
Collaborate as a part of a high-functioning team to oversee all aspects curriculum design
Critique and revise curriculum, focused on these categories: assessments, speaking and vocabulary
Revise lessons based on criteria and multiple rounds of feedback
Degree in education, specialization in teaching English Language Learners preferred - current undergrad students will also be considered
Teaching experience preferred
An ability to analyze, critique, and creatively revise curriculum across multiple levels
A keen eye for detail
Strong self-motivation and self-management skills; an effective independent worker
