Description

Deshpande Foundation working in the North Western Karnataka region and look for entrepreneurial solutions which are scalable and have impact at the societal level. Our belief system is centered on the fact that societal development can happen if people are entrepreneurial in their approach and look for solutions which are innovative and scalable.

The Deshpande Teaching intern position has an exciting opportunity for talented individuals who desire to work in India for a minimum of 6 months. Applicants must be university graduates with high level of communication and presentation capabilities in addition to high analytical thinking.

Position Description:
Designing the English and Communication Module to various fellowships
Teaching (Min. of 4 hours a day) English and communication module across the fellowships
Closely working with the fellows to improve their written and oral communication
Fellows’ assessment based on the pre-defined criteria
Program publications (web, print)
Marketing/Promotional presentations to a wide variety of audiences

Requirements:
University graduates (minimum Bachelor's degree)
Proficient in professional writing and editing
Native English speakers.
