Description

The Entertaining Oddballz, a children's educational entertainment concept seeks to be the first cartoon of its kind to include disability and disabled characters into children's entertainment. Presently 1 in 5 Americans are disabled, however, there is no representation of disability in Children's media. We are trying to fix that. Our entertainment concept has been highly successful with it's music, having been created by a former member of a Grammy Winning children's group who also has credits from country to hip-hop including a Grammy Nomination in the field of hip-hop having worked with stars like Lil Wayne's Young Money imprint. You can find our website at http://www.theoddballz.com and our Twitter at @TheOddballz. Oddballz music is on FM radio from Los Angeles to London featuring the vocal talents of a former Mickey Mouse Club member who also headlined on Broadway and has appeared in television and film. Recently, The Oddballz got a writeup in the Miami Herald: http://www.miamiherald.com/entertainment/ent-columns-blogs/lesley-abravanel/article37245858.html

Currently, The Entertaining OddBallz is seeking education outreach interns to pitch and deliver our lesson plan about disability to schools, school districts, and teachers worldwide.

Preference will be given to disabled candidates. Even though this is remote, preference will be given to candidates in the DC/Baltimore region. However, all who contact us will be contacted back and considered. You can also e-mail us at TheOddBallz@mail.com. We hope to hear from you soon!
