DescriptionHands for Hope is dedicated to broadening horizons, developing talents, promoting self-esteem and instilling life preparation skills by extending a hand of hope to at-risk youth and single parent families. In 2017, Hands for Hope will be celebrating 17 years of providing safe, quality after-school programs and resources for single parents.
We have many exciting events lined up for this year's celebration and WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU ON OUR TEAM!

Volunteers Needed For:
After School Program : Monday -Thursday during the Hours 1/2pm to 6:30pm. (Hours and day are negotiable based on availability).
*A background check will be conducted*
(Office Hours are Monday -Thursday from 11am -7pm.)
ResponsibilitiesAssist Middle and Junior High school students with homework and other academic needs.
Assist with or lead enrichment activities.
Serve as an adult role-model for students in an ongoing one-on-one capacity.
Provide general support for Hands4HopeLA's After School Program and its community initiatives & events.
This position is expected to support the creation of “community” through development of positive, cooperative
relationships with students, program staff and other volunteers.
RequirementsMust enjoy working with children.
Must be over age 18.
Must pass a background check.
Must have at minimum a high school degree.
Must be a Team Player.
