Set In China (SIC) has been established since 2013. Set In China helps candidates to find job/internship opportunities in China. We partner with many companies, schools, training center and universities throughout China. Within the past 2 years, our company has placed over 200 candidates into jobs/internship and have partnered with over 200 companies throughout China. In February 2016, Set In China is please to open Set In China Teaching English in China program where we seek talented and young professional who desire for adventure and to teach English in China.

Set In China is seeking for a full-time High School English Teacher. SIC has partnered with over several dozens of schools and training centers throughout China. This opportunity would allow you to gain cultural experience while learning more about China's education system, Chinese culture and taste delicious Chinese food. If you are ready to explore a country that has 5000 years history, come and teach English in China.

Salary: Approximately 10,000RMB - 20,000RMB depending on the locations of the schools
Most schools provide housing. If they dont, they offer assistance on finding housing
Visa sponsorship
Insurance: Provided
Tourism Allowance: Yes
Paid Vacation: TBD
Locations: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Qingdao, etc..

Create Instructional resources for use in the classroom
Create positive educational climate for students to learn in.
Create lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the year
Maintain grade books
Develop incentives to keep participants in class
Tutor students on an individual basis
Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures
Integrate competencies, goals and objectives into lesson plans
Teaching Hours: ~20 hours per week
Office Hours: ~ 20 hours per week


Must have a clean criminal background history
Must be graduating this Spring or recent college graduate
Must be native English speaker or speak English well with little or no accent
Outstanding personal and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
The ability to incorporate current technology into the classroom environment
The ability to work with a diversity of individuals and groups
Excellent problem solving skills to analyze issues and create action plans
Patience and flexibility
Strong Communication Skills
BS Degree or relevant license/certificate
