DescriptionPosition Summary: Homeschool Program Assistant will assist staff in the development and implementation of monthly workshops for Homeschooled students ages 7-14. Intern will assist with development of curriculum, preparation of materials, and instruction of workshops.
Education Requirements: Education and Science majors preferred
Special Skills Required:
• experience working with children
• interest in science education
• lots of energy and enthusiasm
Schedule Requirements: Interns will be required to work from 9:30 am – 3:00 pm on the following Thursdays for scheduled homeschool workshops: February 11, March 10, April 14, and May 12. Fall dates to be announced at a later date. Additional hours can be scheduled between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Tuesday-Friday.
Other Requirements: This position involves direct contact with children. Interns must meet background clearance requirements before they can begin
