DescriptionWelcome to Kumon, the world’s largest after-school math and reading program. The Kumon Method has helped millions of children achieve more than they ever thought they could. The Kumon Center of Woodbridge was started in 1995 and has been one of the top ten Kumon centers in New Jersey and one of the top 100 Kumon centers in North America.
The instructor assistant/mentor internship position is a non-paid part time position up to 12 hours per week learning about how Kumon help children achieve more on their own and helps the instructor manage a Kumon center. It will give the intern a complete overview of the after school education industry; how Kumon as the largest after school program functions; how to promote the center; and interacting with students, families, other interns, and members of the community in a global and diverse environment.
Responsibilities- Overview of the class session for a particular day; getting to know some special students to observe and new students
- Rotating on different positions: Check in, grading, junior Kumon, regular Kumon, check out
- Summary of the class

- Has good math and reading skills
- good communication and organizational skills
