The Training & Development Intern will work closely with the Human Resources Department, specifically as it relates to the training and development of employees. You will support and participate in activities such as research, video/graphics creation, and development of educational content. Interns will participate in company initiatives and will receive specialized training. Part time interns will be expected to maintain a minimum of 15 hours per week. Full time interns will maintain 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the internship.


 Participate in the creation, maintenance and implementation of a virtual based learning management system, including but not limited to: development of video modules, animated PowerPoint trainings and virtual webinar learning sessions.
 Learn the functions of the training & development program within the structure of the overall organization, specifically the impact on our company’s culture and business process management.
 Participate in the creation of individual learning modules including virtual training modules, webinars, self-guided learning, quizzes and supporting learning documentation.
 Participate in live training sessions, either as a participant or as a trainer, facilitating mini-sessions, lunch-and-learns, half-day and full-day training programs.
 Lead projects based upon needs of the department, and be able to flawlessly execute on all assignments within the prescribed deadlines.
 Collaborate with different departments in order to provide T&D support to areas of business where it is needed most.

You must be proficient in one or more of the following:
 Education & Learning, specifically Adult Learning Theory
 Tech Savvy, able to quickly learn ins and outs of learning management system.
 Strong research skills, able to collect information and normalize it to our brand.
 Superior video and graphic design skills

 Currently pursuing or have received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Education, Communication or Graphic Design or equivalent experience required.

 Minimum 2 years experience working in a fast paced office environment required.
 1-2 years prior experience as an HR Intern or Assistant, Teacher’s Assistant (TA), Office Administrator and/or Executive Assistant strongly preferred.
 Prior experience with Learning & Development preferred.
 Experience in a privately owned business and/or luxury goods environment preferred.

Computer Skills:
 Strong command of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
 Laptop Required (Adobe Design Suite and Microsoft Office)

 Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
 Public speaking skills.
 Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
 Detail oriented –excellent organization and time management skills.
 Knowledge of Labor laws and compliance issues.
 Ability to thrive in a highly visible fast paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
 Strong analytical problem solving skills.
 Bi-lingual preferred (English/Spanish and/or English/Chinese)
 Dedicated, goal oriented, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
