Position Description & Responsibilities
Mathnasium of Chanhassen West is seeking qualified part-time mathematics instructors for tutoring children in grades 1 - 12 for our locally owned & operated center in Chanhassen West.

ResponsibilitiesThe key areas of responsibilities include:
•Tutor students in math subjects up to Pre-Calculus
•Work closely with students to help them achieve their goals
•Communicate progress with parents
•Learn and utilize the Mathnasium Method to work with students to strengthen their math skills
•This is a part-time position, approximately 8 - 16 hours per week, starting at $10/hour.
•Instructors must have availability during the following school-year and/or summer hours
RequirementsThese individuals will possess the following qualifications and requirements:
•Passion for math, and strong math skills; proficient through Pre-Calculus, and well versed in Algebra I&II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus
•Passion for working with kids
•Excellent communication skills
•Superb organization skills
•Ability to multi-task efficiently
•Possess exemplary character and have strong leadership presence
