Description

We are a small non-profit education garden in Chatham, NY that is expanding into a bigger space.

This internship in an individual interested in helping grow a new alternative education program space. Outdoor education programming, community organizing, food justice work, non-profit funding, office work, and farming are all part of this internship.

I am open to considering someone that wants to really hone in on one or a few of these things and help with new projects and funding/building our new site.

Responsibilities

This internship requires a lot of flexibility. Day to day tasks vary widely and include organizing fundraisers and volunteer works days, helping with education programs, working in the gardens, maintaining a social media presence, and researching grant opportunities.

Requirements

Open to a wide-range of skills and backgrounds.
