DescriptionWe are actively looking for enthusiastic part-time after school native English speaking female tutors for kids in elementary school Grade 2-5.
• Provide top quality homework help, test preparation review, especially in math and writing tutoring.
• Actively assist students during tutoring sessions.
• Help students gain confidence in their ability to learn and improve the academic performance in school.
• Monitor students' skills progress and produce timely, detailed status reports.
Must have Bachelor's Degree or currently enrolled competitive college senior (Majored in education, early childhood education, sociology, psychology, economics, math, statistics , engineering or physics)
Graduation from New York top high schools is a plus
Knowledge of elementary, middle school math and writing class concept is a plus but not required.
Have strong passion to teach and inspire children in math and writing sessions.
Excellent writing and communication skills are required.
Previous experience as a tutor or test preparation instructor is required.
Must be able to submit related references and pass a background check.
Previous work with elementary school students is a plus.
Certified Teachers are welcome to apply. (Higher compensation)
Type: Part-time Job Compensation: $15-$20 per hour depends on experience
Working Hours are 2:50 PM - 6:30 PM - Monday through Friday
