DescriptionDo you enjoy playing or teaching sports? Are you passionate about empowering girls? Then get pumped - PowerPlay NYC is hiring part-time coaches for our after-school programming. We're looking for passionate and responsible coaches to work with elementary and middle school girls at schools and community centers throughout the five boroughs.
Coaches will teach fundamental sports skills and facilitate discussion on healthy living using Powerplay's Play Like a Girl curriculum. Groups meet at least once a week after school for 1.5 hours. We encourage coaches to bring their creativity and unique skills and talents to their group.
All applicants must be able to attend at least one training workshop before the program begins, and must be able to commit to coaching through the end of this school year. RequirementsApplicants should have:
