Description

Gads Hill Center is a Social Service agency with wrap-around services from Early childhood, Youth, Community and Mental Health Services. Established in 1898, has been empowering marginalized communities through education and access to resources for over a century.


Educational Intern sought for:

Education Administration
Non-Profit Administration
Grant Compliance and Management experience
Direct Service experience

Center and School Based
Hours are flexible around school schedule
Great experience for students looking to move into Education, Education Leadership, NPO Management, Grant Compliance and Management.


Responsibilities

- Develop and lead community engagement projects weekly or monthly with students ages 5-12
- Assist teachers in daily classroom activities including lesson preparation and implementation
- Work with Education Specialist and Program Manager on operation tasks
- Active student mentorship and engagement
- Organize and collect data for quality assurance and grant requirements
- Monitor project calendar, ensuring program implementation for instructors.
- Assisting Resource Coordinator in other site operations.

Requirements

Education/ Edu. Admin/ Leadership / NPO Major Preferred
Experience working with students / in classroom/ or school
Experience in grant/ NPO management

Skills:
Required - Education, Self-driven, Organized, Motivated, Self-discipline
Preferred - Grant Writing, Bilingual, Tech Savy, Non-profit Administration
