Job Summary
This position is typically a part time/ part year technical position that is assigned to students that are enrolled in an engineering education program. This position is designed to provide entry level project assignments to allow engineering students to gain experience in the engineering world, while providing the Company with the ability to preview the performance of a potential full time hire.

Typical work requires functional and system level testing of M2M vehicle tracking and fleet management devices. Also support Test Automation by developing software routines for regression test suite.

Responsibilities

•Complete project assignments on time, and on budget
•Gain exposure to Company products, locations and business processes
•Establish good working relationships with peers and coworkers
•Develop required PC and task related skills
•Perform functional and system level testing of M2M vehicle tracking and fleet management devices.
•Support Test Automation by developing software routines for regression test suite

Requirements

•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Good organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.
•Responsible attitude and drive to contribute to project teams

Education & Experience
•Currently enrolled in a technical educational program
•Enrolled in BS in CS/EE (or similar) program
•Technical hands on skills in developing software programs in C, Python or other scripting languages
• Good analytical, communication and team-work skills.
• Good knowledge in Linux OS, kernel module programming, device drivers for I2C, SPI, UART, USB etc.
• Experience in developing software for microcontroller based embedded systems.
