DescriptionDo you like blogging, vlogging and simplifying technical concepts to the world?
Do you watch shows like outrageous acts of science all weekend long and see yourself being a part of something like that?
Are you currently in school in a technical program related to engineering, architecture and or construction and are looking for a paying job for a couple of hours a day to use what you learn to do exactly what you love?
Well then we might be a great fit! Its a great opportunity to be a part of building our online presence, a firm that's Mass High Tech's Hottest Start Ups to Watch.
We are a highly rated local engineering construction firm with a core service that permeates all walks of life are looking to hire a creative, intelligent and focused "geek" like us to create content for our website that will eventually be broadcast through various media channels.
ResponsibilitiesWe will work together in our Brookline Village office to come up with ideas for content and then you will either work in our office or travel with our chief engineer or our CEO to the field to generate the content. Everyday will be different where you may shoot a cool video on a Monday, interview an innovative product company on a tuesday or even write a blog of your own on a thursday and publish it on our wordpress site. The content must be truly relevant and mindblowing for our audience!
You will be compensated for the work that we publish as follows:
Written blog: $25 per blog published.
Videos: $100 per video published.
Interviews: $100 per video published or $50 per written interview.
Do you think you can publish 1 video a day with us? Can you see yourself perhaps publishing 10 awesome videos a month with us and doing what your really love? Well, we want to hear from you!
This could perhaps turn into a full time roll, depending on how well we are able to work together and how amazing the content is.
Your schedule can be flexible, provided its the same every week and you're able to achieve the production quotas that we define together.
HOW YOU CAN APPLY:

1. Engineering, architectural or construction/technical background.
2. Solid communication skills: verbal as well as written.
3. Amazing references: 2 professional, 1 academic.
4. Hardworking - it's just a part of our core company culture.
5. Experience publishing a blog and/or videos online with an interesting technical story.
GOOD TO HAVES:
1. Understanding of SEO - white hat vs black hat.
2. Prior experience creating content for a professional organization such as this.
