Description

NZXT is a Los Angeles based leading manufacturer of hardware and software for PC gaming industry. We are a group of innovative people who aspire to be better tomorrow than we are today. As a company that is seeing aggressive growth year over year, we are driven by the yearning to explore, create, change and push boundaries. Our culture revolves around having a passion to walk off the well-beaten path and turn away from the status quo.

As NZXT’s Office Assistant, you will be at the forefront of helping to cultivate company culture. You will provide office and people operation solutions by working closely with the Office Manager to create an atmosphere that helps every person become more engaged with the organization. As a member of the fun and dynamic People Operations team you will have the opportunity to learn about human resources, office administration, and what it takes to build and maintain company culture. Utilizing your strong communication skills and personable spirit, you will be able to work in a cross-functional role between multiple departments in a fast paced environment to tackle just about anything that comes your way.

YOU WILL:

Support the Office Manager in the day-to-day functions of NZXT, including onboarding, offboarding, data analysis, administrative and clerical services, crafting communications, collecting information, acquiring and allocating supplies, organizing events, receiving guests, planning and coordinating travel, light cleaning and maintenance, updating operating procedures, processing forms, filing and maintaining documents, keeping the office area clean and tidy, work related errands, and other projects that help keep the office in tip-top shape.
Maintain an awesome office environment, ensuring that our health pots, elixirs, phoenix downs and other goods are always replenished, and that all our equipment, shields, and tools are in good working order.
Assist in maintaining the benefits of being an NZXT employee, and present new programs that will build company culture and foster community.
Take the initiative to identify people and organizational needs, triage situations accurately and provide and present organizational, departmental and/or individual solutions on people-related issues.
Support the different NZXT departments by being a liaison between employees—handling their questions, resolving office-related needs, assisting on administrative issues, interpreting and administering company policies, and by being an informational resource.

Requirements

Educated: You have earned a bachelor’s degree, and had fun while getting it. You know the ins and outs of Word, PowerPoint and Excel, because you’ve used them separately and in tandem when completing your many college projects.
A People Person: You know how to engage people and cultivate meaningful relationships, you place a premium on building positive interpersonal interactions, and your approachable disposition makes you the go-to person when people need help solving complex issues or managing shifting priorities.
Organized: The Martha Stewart of the office, you will multitask, transition between priorities, and create and keep track of a lot of lists, all the while making it look effortless. You know how to create structure out of chaos and can see the destination despite the many bugs on the windshield, ensuring projects are completed in a fastidious and timely manner.
Motivated: You are a recent college graduate and looking to hit the ground running. You move fast, but are always on top of the objectives you want to reach. You know that there’s always a better way—and you leave no stone unturned to find it. When you go hiking, reaching the lookout point is never enough; the peak is always your destination.
A Communications Wizard: When your team is ready to take on the final boss, you know exactly how to tell your teammates what the best plan of action is. You have mastered the art of communication through any medium, be it through internal messaging, emails, in person conversations, choppy cell phone calls, or smoke signals. Your command of the English language is second to none and you always take the time to consider diction and syntax before hitting the “send” button.
Player Focused: Being an avid PC gamer and tech enthusiast yourself, you understand the nuances of what it takes to play multiple roles, depending on what the situation calls for—from supporting the office to carrying it.
