An established, San Francisco-based, non-profit musical theatre company is looking for one or two persons who can help build campus interest in attending our three Bay Area productions each year. This would include direct contact with the campus theatre department and a modest promotional effort (contacting publicity sources on campus, distributing brochures, radio station visit, offer of rehearsal filming access to the campus video class, etc.)
In addition to the efforts outlined above, the interns would have opportunity to extend their efforts into social media and Internet campaigns to the extent that this furthered their results. They would also have access to the Company within the rehearsal and performance periods of the show, which can be very satisfying. Reports to the Executive Manager of the theatre Company.
Involvement would center around a three week period prior to the opening performances of a show. Time involved during that three weeks would probably be about 5-10 hours total. There are three productions during the year.
