DescriptionInnovative, forward-thinking and fast paced law and media company is looking for an unpaid intern with strong knowledge and understanding of videography and postproduction, including a strong understanding of online video content.
The Company, Talks on Law, is dedicated to creating and curating an innovative forum for contemporary, controversial, and cutting edge ideas affecting the legal community, shared through short, dynamic talks in video format.
The Talks on Law platform will launch as a media website focused on law with an extensive library of short 25 minutes videos of expert speakers, interviews, music videos, and live events.
Unpaid. Possible paid work in future, though not guaranteed.
ResponsibilitiesFilm production (planning, capture, and editing) skills are essential. Facility with multimedia production technology and software applications. Skill with Final Cut and Adobe Photoshop necessary. Dreamweaver and Adobe Connect helpful. Professional demeanor and tact with on camera talent, with a customer service orientation. Must be able to manage difficult situations with firmness and diplomacy.
Our intern should be creative, and self-motivated and ready to work with a small and innovative startup.
Helpful if intern will have interest in law and/or technology.
Requirements1. Contribute to TOL multimedia development strategy, including production planning, and execution of video, audio, and web based content. Collaborate with CEO, VP of Production and Executive Producer to share best practices and ensure consistency with overall TOL multimedia production.
2. Assist in capture (video/audio) and EDITING of TOL programming, including live events and produced content segments. Organize and maintain content library and, in collaboration with TOL team, help drive agenda for content selection and distribution to constituents.
3. Liaise as appropriate with other technical staff at on site shoots. Identify potential collaboration opportunities in the production of relevant content.
