DescriptionCUSP Magazine – above all else – is an experiment. We brought together a collection of like-minded, creative individuals who share a common interest in Chicago culture and endeavored to create a unique and substantial product that speaks to an audience who is similarly inclined.
To Create a Unique and Substantial Product. CUSP is both an acronym for that process and a word representative of our goal. We understand the high standards our contemporary audience demands when it comes to their news – whether they prefer to read about Chicago’s diverse music scene or about its myriad of hot restaurants. In order for us, as journalists and artists, to successfully connect with our audience, we needed to generate material that fully explores emerging topics of Chicago’s underground culture – that which is on the CUSP – and do so in a unique way that readers will appreciate. As the editor of CUSP Magazine, I maintained this attitude during the selection of our stories and of our contributors. Our readers live, work and hang out in nearly every neighborhood in Chicago;- from Wicker Park to Auburn Gresham and from Albany Park to the South Loop. So do we.
This is where you come in; our company is in need of Journalists, Bloggers, Graphic Designers, Photographers, and Videographers new and seasoned to become part of our team. Our goal is to work with someone or a group to give people a new platform to be seen and heard by the masses. If you feel like you are this person, contact us today with a little about yourself, what position(s) you are interested in, what you have done and why you feel you are on the CUSP. Thank you, we look forward to hearing from you.
