DescriptionNew Era Collaso Entertainment of Atlanta is expanding and looking for PART-TIME Back Up DANCE INTERNS to join our team. This opportunity is great for anyone who is seeking a dance teaching career in back up dancing and choreography for other recording artist within the entertainment industry. The internship is unpaid but interns will receive Hours of Service letters, teacher training, hands-on experiences and a chance to perform with our artist during concerts, shows, and events. You will also have great opportunities to meet and greet other artists in the industry during events for future positions in choreography and dance. Experience is a plus, however, we will train the right people.
We are looking for people who are:
Responsible, punctual and organized
Hospitable and outgoing
Experienced or ( wanting to learn) in dance and picking up choreography quickly
Passionate about helping people
Attentive to detail
Willing to learn
Good at multitasking
Available throughout the week to pratice ( time will vary and is flexable) and on Saturdays
Able to work 10-15 hours as an intern for 3 months
-Practices will be held at a disclosed location prior to internship
-Performance location will be giving in advance, All dancer will be required to make transportation arrangements, but if needed transportation can be provided (upon request prior to the performance).
All dates for shows and events are scheduled in advance starting May 7th 2016 and throughout the year.
ResponsibilitiesBringing a GREAT attitude
Scheduling rehearsals with other dancers outside of shows
Assisting in teaching and helping choreograph routines for shows
Practicing outside of schedule shows
Promoting events ( optional)
Being on Time for all rehearsals, shows, events, concert, etc
