Description

Earn school credit for doing awesome things!

DoSD is part of a national network of media properties that focuses on helping people find all the awesome stuff to do in San Diego. We are currently seeking editorial / social media interns for fall 2016.

DoSD is a fun gig with consistent work and a laid back atmosphere that offers a great deal of creative freedom.

Our social media/editorial interns write about music, arts, food, beer and the San Diego lifestyle, photograph events, post on social media, add events to the site, search blogs for awesome shows, help market our brand, and much more.

We’re looking for people who love music, enjoy going out to shows/events, and have confident social voices.

All of our interns work with us in our San Diego office, gaining first-hand experience and learning the inner workings of the music industry.

These are not the sort of internships where you’ll be getting coffee or taking out the mail.Rather, you will have ample opportunity to show off your voice and you’ll also have a lot of agency to affect how things are done at DoSD.

We are super flexible with scheduling, but do require a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
We also require that all team members attend (and help out at) any DoSD-presented events such as soundcheck parties, concerts, and ‘Tastemaker’ hangs.

All positions are unpaid, but we offer and encourage earning school credit for your internship!

If you’re interested, or have any questions, please email us your 5 favorite bands and a cover letter marjy@dosd.com for more details.
