DoSD is part of a national network of media properties that focuses on helping people find all the awesome stuff to do in San Diego. We are currently seeking interns for summer 2017!

DoSD is a fun gig with consistent work and a laid back atmosphere that offers a great deal of creative freedom and expression. If you love to write, blog, go to concerts and festivals, and you have a passion for music and a greater sense of community, you are in the right place.

Our interns write about music, arts, food, beer and the San Diego lifestyle, photograph events, post on social media, add events to the site, search blogs for awesome shows, help market our brand, and much more. We often head out to local festivals and events to promote our brand, hang out with the locals, and have some fun.

We’re looking for people who love music, enjoy going out to shows/events, and have confident social voices. We need people who like being active in the community, who want to go to concerts and events and represent our brand. We are constantly searching to discover new things to do and see in San Diego and let the locals know about what's going on 24/7.

These are not the sort of internships where you’ll be getting coffee or taking out the mail. Rather, you will have ample opportunity to show off your creativity and you’ll also have a lot of agency to affect how things are done at DoSD.

We are super flexible with scheduling, but do require a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.

We also require that all team members attend (and help out at) any DoSD-presented events such as soundcheck parties, concerts, ‘Tastemaker’ hangs, and local festivals.

All positions are unpaid, but we offer and encourage earning school credit for your internship!

If you’re interested, or have any questions, please email us your 5 favorite bands, cover letter and resume to ashley@dosd.com for more details.
