Magnum Opus Productions was created 2013 so that Martina Markota could produce shows featuring Performance Artist Lady Alchemy (self). Lady Alchemy works as a professional entertainer in NYC in the Art scene as well as in the underground nightlife and entertainment culture such as The Box, Sleep No More, and performs on sets from time to time such as HBO, Comedy Central, etc. she also works high end private evens like Google's Holiday party at Cipriani's Downtown.
Intern will interact on a daily basis with clients, maintaining schedule and bookings. Intern will also work on PR and Marketing strategies.
Lady Alchemy is gaining momentum with a fanbase on Instagram of 11.6K and growing followers. interns will learn how to manage social media accounts to gain followers and social media marketing techniques in real life. exploring these concepts will be great professional experience for the intern.
Along with exclusive professional contacts, Intern will learn about Public Relations (PR). Unlike Advertising (bought media) or company “online real estate” (owned media) such as websites and social media channels, PR (earned media) requires a third party (newspaper, blog, digital magazine) to endorse or talk about a brand. intern will learn how to reach these outlets and get noticed by them.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities in general management of a professional working artist in live entertainment in NYC; bookings, scheduling, branding, R&D, marketing, PR and financial. will actively outline professional development in these areas gaining real life experience to their education
Requirementsmust be enrolled or have been enrolled in an Entertainment or Artist Management degree or something similar
