DescriptionThe Columbia City Theater boasts one of the most beautiful settings for live music and performance in Seattle. The theater reopened on June 25th, 2010 to rave reviews and was featured in Seattle Weekly’s “Best of Seattle” list after being open for less than two months. It has since been dubbed “The city’s finest sounding room,” by SPIN Magazine.
The Columbia City Theater was built in 1917 and is the oldest vaudeville theater in the state of Washington.
We are seeking interns to attend events on-site to generate content for social media postings.
Requirements21+ (to attend evening events in a bar environment)
Access to a high-quality camera (still and video)
Ability to use Final Cut pro or Adobe Premiere
Flexibility around scheduling needs
Desired Skills: Knowledge of using SEO for community building, and knowledge of building social media community through followings, tagging, posting, requesting membership and understanding social media Algorithms.
Excellent research & writing skills required.
Position could lead to permanent employment.
Potential opportunity to work on pre-production and production of new live performance streaming media show to be produced in the Theater.
