DescriptionFor over fifteen years, Drew’s Entertainment has been providing quality party and entertainment products for every holiday and occasion.
Drew’s Entertainment is looking for a few enthusiastic students interested in the entertainment and music industry to intern for us during the Fall 2012 semester, earning college credits. During your internship, you will have the chance to understand and participate in the inner workings of a fast-paced global entertainment company.
Working directly with the Music Product, Licensing & New Media Departments, interns will learn the importance of music in a digital realm and how music helps with a company’s brand identity.
˜ Research ideas of possible digital music releases.
˜ Create track lists for digital release
˜ Assist in digital promotions for iTunes, Amazon and other digital music sites.
˜ Work on marketing campaigns for new original releases.
˜ Social Media Marketing
˜ Organization and continued maintenance of all music catalogs.
˜ Administrative tasks as needed including filing, scanning, making copies, etc.
˜ Good time management skills
˜ Strong organizational and administrative skills
˜ Strong analytical skills
˜ Diverse knowledge of musical genres, styles and artists
˜ Good oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of: Microsoft Excel, Social Media Sites (Facebook/Twitter)
