DescriptionA Public Relations Account Executive for Fox Media & PR/WorldStar Hit Radio is responsible for managing and answering the needs of clients on a daily basis. PR Account Executives will serve as representatives of the company and as liaisons between the company and the client. PR Account Executives report to the Publicist.
Candidate should possess media knowledge & account management skills, be an action-oriented leader, be able to deliver results and have a passion for excellence.
Act as client lead on a minimum of 4-5 accounts ; manage PR Assistant Account Executives on these accounts to ensure they are completing assigned tasks and public relations efforts
Establish and build strong relationships with high-level regional and national online, television and radio consumer and lifestyle contacts important to clients
Oversee media strategies in alignment with client objectives; identify and resolve when strategies aren’t working or the situations change
Overseeing creation of Comprehensive Media Plan, ensuring client goals, events and strategies are reflected accordingly
Overseeing press kit development, which includes writing and editing bios, fact sheets and press releases
Overseeing all written materials such as client agendas, media alerts, event briefs, call sheets, etc.
Creating and writing effective pitches to secure media coverage (both item and feature placements) that meets client objectives
Event management, including press conferences, opening and promotional events
Staffing television shoots and other media opportunities on behalf of client
