Description

MadeFirst, a creative entertainment fabrication company, is seeking a shop intern. This internship is unpaid but will allow you to gain fabrication experience while working with a variety of materials. We will work with you when it comes to your schedule and college requirements (if applicable). The ideal candidate will have some background work in scenic carpentry and have the ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment. Other requirements include:

- clean driving record and reliable transportation
ability to lift 50 lbs.
general knowledge of fabrication materials (metal, plastic, foam, paints, etc.)

The following skills are a plus:
ability to read blueprint/shop drawings
high levels of intelligence, creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
forklift operation
