DescriptionHuge opportunity for growth to get in on the ground floor of an educational media start-up.
We are looking for Spring Graphic Interns to groom as awesome editors and graphics people. Your job would involve learning as much as possible in video workflow, online/digital content, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. You will be working on projects for our YouTube Channel.
SupertutorTV is an online resource for high school students designed by a filmmaker and elite test prep expert. Our goal is to make learning more awesome through videos that educate and entertain. Principal is a former unscripted TV/music video director and producer and has previously developed and produced celebrity driven digital and television content distributed via PBS, Yahoo!, CBS SoCal, public television, and other news outlets. Check out our Youtube channel: www.youtube.com/supertutortv.
Our office is in Westwood south of Wilshire (walking distance from UCLA).
There is no guarantee of employment later. However, we have hired former interns in the past to do both full time and contract work, and expect to grow as a company in the next year or two.
ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for someone to learn and contribute on the “sizzle” end of post – graphics, motion graphics, etc. Your job as an intern is to learn and improve your skills, and if you ever feel that isn't happening then we'll talk and make it so. As interns are unpaid, their skill growth and portfolio building is our top priority. No filing, no errands. If you’re working on something, it will be related to learning post production skills. Our prior graphics interns have walked out the door with a portfolio of work that has landed them jobs post graduation.
If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to amp up your After Effects chops, this could be it.
RequirementsMust have your own laptop! Animators, artists and filmmakers encouraged to apply!
