Description

VeryVera is an organization of programs and ventures that include an award-winning, syndicated cooking and lifestyle TV program, a children’s cooking camp that helps shape the youth of Augusta and soon the southeast, a philanthropic coalition with a special needs program, and a hospitality and catering company that aims to provide exceptional cuisine and hospitality to weddings, grand openings, and special events. The VeryVera Show is a 2-time GABBY Award Winner for Best Locally Produced Show in Georgia and began its 5th season in Fall 2016. The show is syndicated to six Southern TV markets and will likely gain more before Season 6. Vera Stewart has always been a dedicated mentor to young people and is happy to share her 30+ years of entrepreneurial know-how with the next generation of professionals.

Responsibilities

The VeryVera Show
-Assist in ingredient prep and recipe testing for weekly tapings of The VeryVera Show
-Accompany our show intern to the studio to help with show filming
-Lend a creative eye on set to make any changes to set décor, show outline, etc.

Masters golf tournament catering
-Assembling and maintaining client folders
-Organization of important documents (ex. Invoices, expense sheets, etc.)
-Corresponding with staff before, during, and after Masters week
-Assisting during Masters week and attendin certain events

Other administrative duties
-Planning for monthly Saturday Cooking Classes
-Social media presence and working to create buzz worthy projects to promote our presence
-Assisting in event planning (ie. cookbook signings, cooking demos, etc.)

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Food, Communications, Business Administration, Education, or related

Skills

Required - Time Management, Organization, High level of initiative, Business Correspondence, Communicate Clearly
