614 W. Superior Avenue Suite #1200
DescriptionCome Work for Ohio's Largest Environmental and Public Health Watchdog Group - Over 80,000 Ohioans Joining Together to Fight for Environmental Equity and Social Justice. - In Downtown Cleveland since 1975
From pioneering the first Hazardous Chemical Reporting laws in the U.S in 1980 to halting the Cleveland Incinerator by our Metropark Zoo last year, Ohio Citizens have harnessed their political clout and citizen lobbying power through Ohio Citizen Action. And we did it through citizen funding, not political front groups for Democrats or Republicans. Only real Ohioans could have made this change possible. We need strong leaders and passionate individuals to join our team and keep Ohio's momentum moving toward a more sustainable future!
Now we are working on a campaign to protect Ohioan's from out-of-state toxic fracking waste. Oil & gas companies successfully lobbied to have fracking waste regulated as non-hazardous, regardless of what it actually contains. Find out more at Ohiocitizen.org
