DescriptionClean Water Action (CWA) is a national, grassroots environmental nonprofit organization that seeks to protect the environment and safeguard public health, promote passage of strong environmental laws, and help communities address local environmental problems affecting them.CWA Providence is seeking entry-level campaign staff to advocate for environmental and public health campaigns. Excellent on-the-job training! Competitive pay and benefits!
Hours: Monday through Friday, 3:00-10 PM (3 day per week minimum).

ResponsibilitiesAs an organizer for Clean Water Action, it is your job to motivate folks to speak their minds to elected officials; collect grassroots donations to support our programs; deliver updates on local, state, national campaign initiatives; and help elect pro-environmental candidates. Meet daily in our office on Westminster St. and travel as a team to key legislative districts in the area.
RequirementsNo experience required but we do seek candidates with a strong motivation to work on environmental and public health issues. Strong motivation and interpersonal skills a must!
