DescriptionJoin a small team of your friends, family, and other interesting volunteers in collecting samples of bugs and other creatures! These insects help us determine how healthy the river system is and what areas we need to focus our restoration efforts more. Volunteers will go out with trained leaders to two different stream sites. At these sites you’ll have to opportunity to search through stones, leaves, and sediment to find insects. Make sure you dress to be in the field and be out for a couple of hours. Remember to register early for this event! Children are welcome, but must be attended by an adult!
