DescriptionObsessed with event planning? Want to learn the ins and outs of the event business? Organized to a fault? Tim Duncan Events is looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented, savvy intern to be a right hand woman (or man) to the owner of the company.
You will learn the ins and outs of owning a small business, creating timelines and proposals for clients, marketing, sourcing potential clients, interacting with vendors, coordinating, and assisting social events, photoshoots, and more!
ResponsibilitiesSome Tasks include:
-research and planning assistance
-social media networking
-inspiration board creation and blogging
-photo shoot planning
-onsite assistance at events
-interfacing with clients
-shadowing at meetings and thorough note taking
-answering phones (professional, phone manners/etiquette a must)
-working events some weekends which include setting up, assisting during the event, cleaning up, being on your feet!

-minimum 4-6 month commitment
-must be located in the Atlanta metro area
-seriously interested in event planning
-enviable organization and time-management skills
-exceptional writing + communication skills, people person
-great work ethic, super responsible/dependable
-trustworthy + reliable
-self-starter and proactive (thinks ahead to be helpful and doesnt always wait to be directed)
-Serious Social Media/ Blog skills
- proficiency in WordPress, MS Office (and Photoshop is a plus)
- great sense of style/fashion
-must have a reliable car and computer
