DescriptionTaste Of Africa USA is a Media,Marketing and Special events company. One of our events include a quarterly event we produce in conjunction with Panla (our sister company) called Panla "A Taste of Africa Event Series". This a great opportunity for anyone that wants to grow with unique, innovative upstart. Great for people who want to discover new possibilities and be on the frontier of New Media.
We are looking for 3-4 responsible interns to assist with writing press releases, blogging, developing media relationships, researching, identifying and writing potential sponsors, develop content for new web site and help with various marketing initiatives.
To be successful at this position, you would need to be proactive, a clear thinker, take initiatives, set goals (set measurable and achievable goals), communicate clearly ( ability to creatively communicate marketing messages), have an entrepreneurial spirit, innovative and be a team player. We hope to make this a great learning experience for you.
We have a flat organizational structure. The reason for such structure is to encourage all our interns and employees to use their own initiative and enhance communication among all levels within the firm.
This is not a paid position. This could go full time for the right candidate as we expand. Great opportunity for the right person.
The internship will be done remotely from the comfort of your home. We are headquartered in NY and will meet approximately once a week to go over progress.
