The Conference Department celebrates writers’ contributions to film & television. During four days of panels, screenwriters & filmmakers network & learn the tricks of the trade — the art, craft & business of screenwriting & filmmaking – from the masters themselves, leading Hollywood writers, directors, producers, agents, managers and production company executives.
An apprenticeship is an opportunity to learn a trade or gain experience in a desired field. An apprentice could be a student, recent graduate, or someone looking to change career paths.
Both internships and apprenticeships consist of a regular weekly work schedule within a particular AFF department and are designed to expand participants professional knowledge and experience. Apprenticeships, unlike internships, are not for official school credit.

Interns will assist the Conference Director in coordinating these numerous panels and arrange travel and accommodations for our distinguished guests.
