The Business Expo Center is the premier event facility located in Anaheim, California. We are a venue that specializes in the accommodation of business events including seminars, conferences, meetings, and conventions. We are also a great venue for weddings, birthdays, special gatherings, High School dances, Holiday parties. Unlike other event venues, our benefits are not limited to the rental space that we offer. We also provide the means to boost customers’ exposure and increase event attendance through such amenities as video streaming and a variety of marketing opportunities.

The Event Coordination Assistant will learn the ins and outs of the Event & Meeting Space industry while working hands on with The Business Expo Center Team. Additionally, he or she will be working closely with the Event Coordinator to help with tasks and develop an understanding of the event coordination process.

Responsibilities

The Event Coordination Assistant will be assisting the Event Coordinator in preparation for events held at the Business Expo Center. Some of the tasks will include:

-Confirm what is expected the event from the beginning to the completion of the event
-Keeping facility "tour ready", setting the scene for potential clients
-Plan, organize, coordinate, promote, and facilitate special events
-Communicate with clients to insure event needs are met
-Pre & Post Event Data entry

Requirements

Must be organized, quick learner, computer knowledge, communication skills.
