Description

The Arizona State Fair (ASF) is the state’s largest festival, typically drawing over 1 million guests annually to rank ASF in the top 15 North American fairs. Not to mention it’s an exciting place to work!

ASF seeks outstanding interns for a fun, unique, fast-paced, Festival/Event Management Internship within several departments at the Fair. These positions offer to build experience in a number of event management areas including:

• Marketing
• Sponsorship/Vendors
• Talent Booking
• Sales
• Accounting
• Client Services
• Operations

The ideal candidate will enjoy working on a variety of tasks and may have the opportunity to work in other Fair departments along the way for a well-rounded event experience if desired. ASF interns must exhibit a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, display a professional demeanor, and have the ability to multi-task when needed.

The Festival/Event Management interns will have a measurable impact on the success of the Fair, currently an 18-day event which will occur October 10 – November 2, 2014 (Closed Mondays & Tuesdays.) You may visit the Fair’s website at: http://www.azstatefair.com. EEO/RAE.
