DescriptionINTERNS WANTED: We are Miss Modesty. We work hand in hand with different companies to increase their sales via marketing, public relations, corporate events, and sales coaching.
We have an immediate opening for 3 interns (not paid) for our next cycle (3 months). We are looking for flexible, creative, responsible, personable, motivated, hard working and organized individuals. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Your main focus will be to collaborate with our Events Team:
Assist with event coordination & management
Video Editing for our video blogs
Update Facebook, Twitter, and multiple websites and blogs
Assist with various sponsor needs
Assist with post event interviews for video blogs
Photo management and distribution
Distribute credentials to media
Promote upcoming events
Discuss promotion strategies and techniques with team members
Actively utilize social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter to promote upcoming events
Assist with store event coordination
Manage Event Programs
ResponsibilitiesOur clients are from a myriad of different fields. One day we might be working with a custom home builder, the next with the launch of a fashion designer's spring line. Our common thread is luxury clientele.
Since we work with so many different fields within this common thread, the open intern positions may be best suited for candidates that are still trying to decide what specialty or niche market they would like to focus on. This opportunity will definitely give them a very well rounded experience.
Work hours are very flexible. We like to run our business with a goal oriented perspective, not a "9 to 5 time clock." Interns will have 24/7 access to their mentor regardless of time or work location.
What is of the utmost importance is confidentiality and privacy. Interns may have access to privileged information such as business practices, future business models, financial records and contact details and databases for both our clients and our company that must always remain confidential.
We are focused on the fashion, arts, travel, food and entertainment industries. We are working with several boutiques and fashion lines in order to increase their sales through marketing, advertising, public relations and events. We are currently working on Fashion Week in Wynwood, our upcoming Wynwood Fashion Collective event in December.
Our overall goal is brand awareness for all our esteemed clients. We achieve this by producing fashion shows, ad campaigns, trend shows, photoshoots, visual merchandising, videos, hosting castings and auditions, managing entertainment and social media (includes blog).
We also manage talent and are in the beginning stages of producing a Travel Agent conference & trade show in Miami, tentatively for early August 2015.
We are also currently working on our Mom's Night Out event (www.EventsForMoms.com), which is what we are best known for. The next night of this quarterly event is on September 20th. We will also launch the fall issue of our digital magazine (South Florida Moms) at the event. We need assistance in managing the guest list and media,also a vendor liasion, etc. We have several media attendees that are confirmed as well as VIP guests. This includes marketing, advertising and publicity for these events, as well as follow ups.
