The mission of Lady University is to build character, confidence, and culture through empowering young girls (age 8-17, grades 3rd to 11th) and women to be leaders, visionaries, and high-achievers. We are also a networking organization for women building leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, lifestyle development and womanhood.

The Events Intern should be energetic, enthusiastic, organized and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate for this position is able to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

The event assistant intern will primarily help with the planning, coordinating and executing our quarterly events for the mentoring program and networking organization.

- Creating Event Agenda
- Organize Event Calendar
- Ability to research potential sponsors
- Compose Time-line to execute upcoming events
- Create partnerships with outside vendors
- Assist with media coordination, check--ins
- Assist with social media
- Assist with RSVP list
- Create invitations for events
- Writing Thank you notes
- Delivering Sponsorship Packets
-book guest speakers (primarily nonprofits)
-implement a creative program (simulations, demonstrations, fundraisers, social mixers, etc)
-organize volunteers
-secure locations
-book workshops, seminars, and trainings
-post event listings
-schedule community outreach opportunities

Requirements

- Strong communication skills
- Strong writing skills
- Self-starter
- Detailed Oriented
- Possess ability to manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of social media

Pay negotiable after 90-day evaluation.
