Description

The Branding Muse was developed to address the needs that a traditional education often overlooks. Headquartered in the Washington, DC area this organization is built upon the commitment to empower young professionals and college students to take control of their personal brands by providing them with the resources to create and maintain a professional and attractive online presence. The marketplace is extremely competitive and the internet is a tool that can be harnessed to help distinguish greatness from mediocrity.

Responsibilities

Intern will assist in the management of BM events and programs, including event planning, execution, and administration. Responsibilities include:

•Support pre-event planning activities including administrative logistics, attendee materials, and registration.
•Compile and manage sponsor database and assist with sponsor outreach
•Assist with agenda development including issuance of speaker invitations, securing confirmations, and speaker database maintenance.
•Support follow-up activities including issuing thank you letters, updating contact lists, and compiling evaluation reports.
•Assist Brand Ambassadors in the development of on-campus events
•Spearhead the development of three signature Branding Muse events: Mentor Brunch, Networking Mixer, and Summer Workshop.

Requirements

•College Students in the Northeastern region of the U.S.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent people skills – ability to work cooperatively with others at all levels
•Ability to meet deadlines and attend weekly phone meetings
•Willing to be the face of Branding Muse on website and social media channels
•Excited to own projects and take control of their responsibilities
