Description

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) is currently seeking student interns by semester in an effort to offer an educational and training experience for those interested in a career in marketing and communications, special events or fundraising. In addition, the CFF also provides students with the opportunity in helping to extend our organizations marketing and event planning efforts by offering fresh and creative thinking that keeps CFF programs and events progressive and cutting edge.
The job description for CFF interns is the following:
1. Assist the four- (4) member CFF staff in day-to-day business operations.
2. Work with CFF staff in generating leads and information on various business organizations, civic clubs, volunteer groups, etc.
3. Participate in a variety of staff and planning meetings that support the CFF on-going and upcoming events (Event Logistics, Sponsor Presentation, Public Relations, Sponsor Recruitment, Financial Planning, etc.)

Requirements

Practical knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Advertising, Marketing, Accounting, Communications, and Event Planning.
• Computer literate in one or more of the following programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Publisher, web design, social media experience a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
