The NC Hispanic Chamber Special Events Intern (SEI) is an internship position responsible for assisting in meeting the increasing Marketing/advertising needs of our chamber partners/business leaders looking to serve the Hispanic Market. Morning staff meetings with your direct report, the President (PRES) will be coordinated accordingly. The SEI will report activities on a regular, timely and frequent basis. The SEI will provide reports to the PRES as reasonably required.

Database management and computer skills including a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook are required as well as excellent neatness, organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. Strong bilingual, oral and written, communication skills are a must. Interpersonal skills, including good tact and professionalism in dealing with staff, Board, membership, partners and the business community are critical. Basic mathematical computation skills are required. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced team and the ability to read and comprehend Chamber correspondence, marketing material and other documents Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing and managing time efficiently. Must maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Additional Responsibilities
The SEI will be required to work a minimum of 10 hours.
