We have our office in the home located in Van Nuys, CA. We are a successful Event Design/Coordinating company in business for 40+ years. Exciting hospitality industry with lots to learn! This is a hip, progressive, fast-paced and high energy environment where independent work is required.

We offer lunch and a gas stipend.

Other duties will be inputting data to contact data base (Gmail), creating and implementing filing systems, organization of hard copy documents, i.e. Employee Manual and many others.

Prefer 3 days a week - available to start 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. for 5 hours - Note that beginning with late afternoon or weekends will not work for us.

Prefer you live nearby and not have to have long commutes. We are in Van Nuys, CA

Prefer a person with strong confidence and have had exposure to office operations and development of business forms and procedure to better the business.


A normal day would be working under the direction of the General Manager. She will delegate the needs for the day or longer projects. These projects can vary to office organizational work with forms, data base entries, mass emails working with MailChimp and a data base from Gmail. Proficient in MAC for creative creation of content for the emails. Will be taught the coordinating process for events, will have the opportunity to work at events and/or be there to observe. Any and all skills will be explored in assisting the day to day running of a business as well as "hands on" work on how to coordinating a successful event. Follow-thru and follow-up are essential.


In need of intern that is available for work 2-3 days a week for at least 5 hours each day beginning at 9-10 a.m. of the day with 5 hours per day.
We are looking for a person with passion of wanting to learn about Special Events design and coordination…and also the internal operations of a a business and be extremely organized and have strong people skills. You need to take your projects from concept to completion.

The job entails working on many levels providing support to the CEO as well as working under the direction of the General Manager to include basic office work, i.e. developing and implementing filing systems, keeping data base uptodate (Gmail Contacts), setting up and confirming appointments, be navigationally savvy to do computer research for vendor information for parties and work with General Manager for the coordinating process of parties. Proficient computer skills for microsoft office. Ability to create graphics of ads, newsletter, etc. on MAC a plus! Would prefer someone that is PROFICIENT with MAC and work from that computer...along with knowing PC as well.

You need to be a fast-study that learns and retains information easily, be detailed oriented with a great emphasis on follow-up and follow-through and ability to multi-task!

Social media, creative writing, proficient in power point presentations for clients and P/R Marketing knowledge is a plus + but not required.

A team player and ability to anticipate and assist on team projects

Multi-tasked and can juggle many balls at same time

Excellent phone skills and customer service

Other office tasks to include knowledge of scanning, burning CD’s, creating forms with templates

Must be dependable and on time
Casual business dress for home/office environment

Prefer ability to do Power Point and/or other graphic programs for presentations proficiently on MAC


Required - Mac/PC proficient
Preferred - Multi Tasking
