DescriptionMental Health America of Illinois (MHAI) is seeking two (3) creative and driven individuals to help plan and manage our events/fundraisers and assist with our overall development plan. This is your chance to work on premiere non-profit events and learn valuable fundraising skills.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work out of our downtown Chicago office in a laid-back and fun work environment. Your schedule can be as flexible as you need it to be, but you must dedicate 10-15 hours a week total to the assignment (minimum of 144 hours total must be served).
Full class credit (if needed) and professional recommendation will be given upon successful completion of the assignment. There is no pay, however there will be many perks including complimentary tickets to events.
If you are interested in a full-time position in Marketing, Public Relations, Event Planning, Promotions, Nonprofit Management, or Fundraising this is the perfect internship for you.
RequirementsMust have strong communication skills and be proficient with all Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, powerpoint). Must be extremely creative and goal-driven.
