DescriptionThe Events Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of fundraising events at Heart Of a Thousand Hills. This position will work in coordination on other projects pertaining to events as assigned by the Executive Director.

ResponsibilitiesKey duties include: planning events, creating and adhering to event budgets, set up/tear down of events, managing events, soliciting sponsors or partner organizations, creating coordinated marketing & design pieces, and promoting events via social media, Internet, print, & radio.
RequirementsCommunication Skills: Event coordinators work with suppliers, contractors, employees, and volunteers.
Calm Under Pressure: Many things can go wrong during an event, and something eventually will. Event coordinators need to remain calm during crisis and the high pressure of an event in progress.
Organization Skills: They need to know how to well plan, budget and organize their events and stay focused.
