DescriptionWe are hiring students and grads with event or hospitality background to cover special events at our coworking, meeting & event space. You will be part of our growing events business, with opportunities to participate in planning, procurement, event coverage, guest relations, and customer service. Event coordination and leadership opportunities for the right candidate.
Events and meetings take place during the day, as well as evenings during the week and at different times of day on Saturdays and Sundays, primarily mid- to late-afternoon and evenings. We host a significant number of corporate meetings and events that range from baby showers to weddings to cooking classes, and everything in between.
ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Tours of the event space
+ Guest relations
+ Helping guests put up decor
+ General customer assistance during events and meetings
+ Facilities maintenance
+ Troubleshooting during events
+ Supplies research and procurement
- Customer service experience
- Confident and friendly
-Party planning and execution training helpful
-Hospitality or guest relations experience
-Social media marketing a plus
-Must be professional with the ability to interact with a wide variety of constituents
-Must be willing to clean up after events, and help return the business to previous condition
