DescriptionBlessings 2 Give, Inc (B2G) is a non- profit organization that provides the necessities for infants and toddlers to less fortunate families, single mothers or fathers,or anyone in need , as well as, using God and influential role models to guide young adults and lead them to a positive future. B2G will donate clothes, shoes, food, school supplies, etc. to as many communities as possible. In addition, B2G will have counselors, teachers, and more provide young adults with the guidance and knowledge they may lack. Furthermore, B2G intends to evolve from a non- profit organization to a successful business, giving back to the community.
This position is for a dedicated person with a passion for event planning. This person will be in charge of planning the event in its entirety. This is a part- time position that can turn into a permanent position with pay. See more details below. Blessings 2 Give would like to launch this organization to the public in September 2016. In addition, we would like to have events on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities-liaising with clients and designers to create a brand for the event and organizing the production of tickets, and posters, plus social media coverage
- producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets);
-securing and booking a suitable venue or location
-identifying and securing speakers or special guests
Requirements-Excellent communication and verbal skills
-1yr experience in event planning
- Knowledge of market
- Should be organized and is able to multi-task
- Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable
- Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure
-Should be able to use Microsoft Office 2010
