DescriptionBRUNDER is currently seeking part-time event planning interns to help coordinate and manage our events. Most of the job is virtual until the actual ‘event’. The event intern(s) will have an active role in running events and in making it a fun and exceptional experience. This is a unpaid ‘virtual’ internship and does not require you to come into the office. Events are in the Greater Boston area. Internship can be for college credit.
BRUNDER is a food venture that focuses on small batch, artisanal, craft, authentic, mom-and-pop-shops and up-and-coming food creators and drink makers and connecting them to the greater food community.
ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate and manage events from beginning to end
Contribute to BRUNDER’S social media, manage and identify external content opportunities for increased visibility.
Writing newsletters updating the community on BRUNDER’S events and news
Providing logistical and general management support to the BRUNDER team.
Other administrative tasks, as needed, related to special events
Assist with post-event evaluation and metrics
RequirementsInterest in working at a start-up
MUST, MUST love food
DYNAMIC personality and POSITIVE attitude.
Previous event planning, social events, marketing experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator is a plus!
Independent work ethic
Willingness to roll sleeves up and have some FUN!
